Ellen going the 10th of March 1898 for Boston with 2 others

In 1898, January 31 it began to snow till the 3rd of Feb. and the snow was 2 feet deep in Boston, Mass and in Grafton, Vermont 5 feet deep. Everything was covered with snow and telegraph wire was dropping down so that it killed 60 horses. One man was killed by ice just dropping on him.

In 1898 Nov 26 the first snow Saturday right at 8 o’clock; we was all in Lexington take dinner with Ellen
